Join Ups & Downs Calgary Down Syndrome Association at the CORE for a celebration of creativity, talent, and inclusion in recognition of and ahead of Canadian Down Syndrome Week.

From October 18 to October 24, visitors can explore an art exhibit showcasing 12 original winning entries from the Ups & Downs Community Calendar Art Contest. Created by individuals with Down syndrome and representing all four seasons of the year, these featured pieces were selected for inclusion in the 2027 Ups & Downs Community Calendar.

Calendars featuring the winning artwork will be available for purchase throughout the week, with proceeds supporting the programs, services, and community-building initiatives offered by Ups & Downs for individuals with Down Syndrome and their families.

On select days, individuals with Down Syndrome will share their talents through a Community Showcase, creating opportunities for connection, awareness, and celebration.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to support Ups & Downs through a province-wide 50/50 raffle hosted online through Rafflebox during Canadian Down Syndrome Week.

This exhibit highlights the creativity, strengths, and contributions of people with Down syndrome while helping raise awareness and build a more inclusive community for everyone ahead of Canadian Down Syndrome Week.
